Product Description
The Complete Recycled Leather Production Line provides an integrated solution for converting leather-processing waste into commercially reusable recycled leather material. Depending on the raw material and final product requirements, the production process can be configured for recycled leather sheets, continuous rolls, bonded leather, reconstituted leather, and related leather-fiber materials.
The production line begins with raw material preparation. Large split leather scraps and leather offcuts are cut into smaller and more uniform pieces by the primary crusher. The pre-crushed material is then processed by the fiber opening machine, which separates and opens the leather structure into loose leather fibers. A blower and cyclone separation system can be included to collect dust generated during fiber preparation.
After fiber preparation, the material enters the mixing or pulping section. The formulation and process route are selected according to the customer’s raw material and target product. A conical fiber refiner can be used to refine, disperse, and homogenize recycled leather fiber slurry before forming, helping prepare a more uniform material for the following process.
The prepared fiber or slurry is then distributed and formed into a continuous wet sheet. Dewatering and pressing equipment remove excess moisture and help stabilize the sheet structure. The formed material is conveyed through a continuous drying oven, where controlled temperature, hot-air circulation, and adjustable conveying speed gradually reduce moisture.
After drying, the recycled leather material can be processed by steam-heated soft press rollers or other finishing equipment to improve flatness, surface smoothness, and overall appearance. According to the required final format, the material can then be trimmed, cut into sheets, or wound into rolls.
